I hadn’t realised what each policy actually covered and the small print bits I’ve never actually read. A coffee and conversation with Prosure and I understood everything far better.
Only had basic public liability cover in place and didn’t realise they needed employers liability cover as well (which was a legal requirement) as they actually had temporary staff employed by the business. Prosure also explained and included some tools cover (including theft from an unattended van overnight) which the client didn’t even know existed.
Prosure set up a new policy for this new venture. The owners of the business didn’t understand (quite reasonably!) what insurances they would need, so the team at Prosure talked them through all of the covers they required to protected against the various risks the business could face. The final policy included both employers and public liability covers, business interruption, stock, goods in transit and product liability – plus the client now understands how this covers them.
